The IAFF has always worked closely with the MDA to help improve the quality of life and support research for the children of the Muscular Dystrophy Association. In support of one of our own who was lost while fighting a house fire, each year Lexington County puts on a boot drive in honor of Jeff Chavis. This is something near and dear to each on of us so when presented with the opportunity please give us your support in any way you can.
